New year, new colleagues, and our latest member: Patricia.

On the fourth of January 2021, she started at ContactCare as a team leader. A somewhat unusual start, as ContactCare is still working entirely from home this year. Despite the physical distance, she has already met the whole team one-on-one, and she has also experienced her first digital ContactCare gathering. We now know everything about her, who she is, what makes her truly happy, and what her role at ContactCare looks like... And we're excited to share all of this with you!

Who is Patricia

The beautiful city of Amersfoort has been my home base for 14 years now. My sister, niece, and nephew also live here. I grew up in Harderwijk and then moved to Utrecht for my studies in work and organisational psychology. I'm the type whose glass is always half full. I usually see life from the sunny side and always try to think in solutions, both at work and in private life. Friends come to me for a good conversation, constructive feedback, but certainly also to share laughter. I often use humour to take the edge off things.

What makes you happy?

In my free time, I love hopping on the mountain bike to ride a trail or just cycle along the Eem. I also enjoy going for a walk, preferably in a beautiful old city centre or out in nature. An evening at home with friends around the dinner table where I cook extensively for everyone is something I really love and that truly makes me happy.

How do you describe your role at ContactCare?

So on January 4th, I started at ContactCare as a team leader Multiclient. In my view, involvement is crucial within a team, both from management and the team itself. By coaching people on their personal development, I like to map out the team's potential. Ultimately, a self-managing team is my ideal, where everyone feels fully valued and has a sense of contribution. That is something I genuinely enjoy, both the journey towards it and achieving it. My strength lies in my attention to people and listening, allowing me to hold up a mirror and help people with their self-reflection. I enjoy putting my team in the spotlight; I’m less comfortable taking centre stage myself, but I do challenge myself to do so. My ambition is to make the Multiclient team the showpiece within ContactCare, to ensure it runs and performs optimally and becomes the best team to work with.
