Over a period of six months, a group of our most talented employees participated in the leadership program. In this program, a team of 7 employees learned all the ins & outs of effective leadership and how to apply it in practice.
During the training, emotions sometimes ran high. In this program, employees were faced with themselves in difficult conversations, participated in role-playing sessions, and were required to do a significant amount of self-study.
And then came COVID-19…
And, as if the training itself wasn’t intense enough, the coronavirus crisis suddenly emerged. As a result, halfway through the program, the decision had to be made to adapt the classroom lessons in a different format.

Fortunately, Chris and Jeroen, our heroes from the ContactCare Academy, were up for the challenge. In record time, they digitalised the classroom lessons and introduced online classrooms to continue the training. Practical lessons weren’t possible for a while. When the situation became somewhat calmer, classroom lessons fortunately could be resumed.

The presentation
Yesterday, on the final day, our talents took our management team through a presentation about their journey to leadership. This was not only extremely valuable and educational for our participants but also certainly beneficial for our organisation. It gave us insight into the participants' vision of leadership and how we can strengthen our organization even more.
Afterwards, we concluded this intensive program with a glass of champagne (at a safe distance, of course!) and the participants received their well-deserved certificate.
Kudos to the new leaders for this outstanding achievement! And thank you team Academy for guiding this fantastic program. Onward to the next generation of future leaders!
